Obama's addiction

Now that Obama will be becoming president, he will have to give up his Blackberry. He will not be allowed to email because it makes him easily trackable. None of the other presidents have had this problem before. Obama is known to always be on his phone emailing, so this switch will be very hard for him.

Grace Kelly lived from 1956 to 1982. She was a very talented actress. Grace Kelly married the prince of Monaco and became a princess. She is a very good role model and everyone who knew her said she was a very kind person.

Computer Jewelry

Lately in computer architechture we've been taking apart computers. We then make jewelry out of the many different computer parts. To attach many of the parts we use solder and a solder gun. The solder gun melts the solder really fast.

Fire

At lunch today the fire alarm went off. My friends and I were eating and we weren't sure what the noise was because it wasn't the regular fire alarm noise. After the alarm went off we had to wait a while untill we were told we could go back in. The alarm went off because of a power surge.

Today is really cold. I hate the cold.

new president

The 44th president of the United States is Barack Obama. He will serve as president from 2009 to 2012. Obama beat John McCain in the race for the White House. This event is very historic because Barack Obama is the first African American president. This shows how greatly our nation has changed since the Civil Rights Act was passed.

presidential election

Yesterday was election day. Citizens voted for the next president of the United States. Running for the election of president were John McCain and Barack Obama. Their running mates were Sarah Palin (McCain) and Joe Biden (Obama). This election had a big voter turnout. Many people showed up to vote because this election was very important. There are very many serious issues and all who voted were a part of history. For the first time an African American was running for president and a woman was running vice president. This election will be a very significant part of history.
